Great benefits - retirement plan nice. Covered parking if you pay for it.

Cons

Favoritism is practiced. No growth if you work hard and the manager doesn't like you.

The "click"

Salary is good (if in a department that isn't understaffed) Most employees are hard working- enviornment ok.

Cons

Favoritism is an issue. Some jobs are not posted for all employees to apply for with positions filled as soon as the job is avaliable. So moving up in the company seems to be limited to "key" personell. Understaffing in most departments, which makes some employees take work home with them just to stay on top of things, and others answering phones on the weekends.

Pros

Salary is tolerable compared to the job market. Benefits are good, employees are great.

Cons

Earlier post about favoritism is still going on. Some promotions made from within, as jobs are filled with no postings made for everyone to apply for. Manager type positions made available with an appointee already in the job.
