Specifically in my department: > micromanagement, a lot of it. Almost the point where you can't do your job because you have to run EVERYTHING by your boss. > innovation is highly discouraged and when you try to provide your expertise, expect to be told to shut up because your opinions are not valued. > direct supervisor is a narcissist and sociopath. Be prepared to be interrogated about your work. I can't blame the CEO for this. I can't blame the COO, CIO, or any of the executives for my grievances because the way I see it, my problem isn't with them - it's with my direct boss.
