The expectation to track down patients who failed to answer calls added an additional layer of stress and responsibility, further encroaching on personal time. The on-call responsibilities further exacerbated the work-life balance issues, leaving little room for rest or recuperation between shifts. In conclusion, the combination of unsanitary work conditions, overwhelming administrative burdens, and lack of support from AHN Healthcare at Home renders it an untenable option for healthcare professionals seeking a fulfilling and sustainable career.
