Friendly corporate staff. People remember your birthday. $100 gift card for your anniversary (while it lasts). Quarterly bonuses (sometimes). Free Lunches/Dinners. Corporate holiday party. Easy to use software. Most staff are remote. Generally not a difficult job. Has good core values and they're easy to remember, if not always followed.
Cons
Can be terminated at any time for any reason, and it won't be in a way that you see coming. It will be strategic. No one is your friend. High turnover. Unreasonable requests. Favoritism. Nepotism. Micromanaging mixed with no real direction or concrete goals. Guessing games. No performance reviews. Never an increase in pay, already low, not even a cost of living increase. Field staff work gets no PTO. Health insurance premiums are high, and not great quality. Just got rid of EAP. Will find a way to let you go after FMLA or disability or sick leave, like it is culturally not acceptable. No parental leave. Inconsistent supervision. No true growth path. Outside candidates are given preference. High turnover in leadership. No real direction. Mandatory meetings twice a month, for fun and for information. Information is always about growth, and then they'll lay off a handful of people in corporate. Outsources - recruiters are off-shore for cheaper prices than US recruiters.
