Pros
Can't really say what the pros might have been. Being part of a government contract where Abacus was the prime contractor wasn't really working for Abacus. Everything was driven by the contract. The managers managed the contract, not the employees. Pay and benefits were fine,but there was no perceptual change from when the contract changed hands from the previous prime to Abacus.
Cons
Communication. Terrible. Managers would keep you in the dark about almost everything but would make decisions about your work area without consulting you about it. It was like they had to be the smartest people in the room, unwilling to ask the workers their opinions or asking and then ignoring their inputs.
