Pros
Even as this company grows exponentially, it's amazing to find such a diverse, hard working group of people that truly care about doing their best for this company. This can only happen with great leadership, and boy do we have it here. All of leadership is willing to listen to your concerns, and they do a good job of respecting your feelings and thoughts. Jason truly cares about the employees, evidenced by the mass amount of perks you get working for this company. *When they say competitive salaries, it's not just buzzwords *Catered lunches every day *Stocked kitchen *CTA *Unlimited PTO *No dress code (within reason, of course) The list goes on. Opportunities are huge here and I'm happy to be along for the ride. Even with external funding for the first time, the culture has not changed which is extremely important to me. I trust this leadership team.
Cons
There aren't many, but no place is perfect (as close as this place is). Along with the great growth, comes growing pains. Not every new person will share the same work ethic as perhaps those who joined the team when it was much smaller, and sometimes it has lead to some members taking on a much larger work load because of it. I believe there is a sweet spot where you CAN hold everyone accountable and set expectations without negatively affecting the environment. However, I know this has been brought to the attention of leadership and it is being worked on, so this is less a con and more a "don't forget about this." Communication across teams has struggled a bit, but that is also being actively addressed.
