Pros
There are many positives to working with Acumatica. The team and leadership is impressive. Everyone is very smart and committed to the company's mission. They are growing rapidly and the technology is very good. The community surrounding the company is also a positive. It's rare that partners and customers are so happy with their ERP, but in Acumatica's ecosystem, that's standard. Work is challenging, benefits are good, very little micromanagement and if your a self driven, entrepreneurial person you'll do well here. There are many who have worked with this team for 5+ years. Many of the original team members from 2008/2009 are still here. Very good sign. If diversity and inclusion is important to you, I don't believe I've seen a more diversified team. And it all happened naturally. Not a "showy" response to what the world wants to see in tech companies today. It's about a 50/50 split of male/female plus the ethic diversities and backgrounds are very wide. It's super common to be on a call where there are 6+ different accents. Team members are absolutely judged on merit, not what they look like. Personally, I love this. It's exactly how it should be.
Cons
When you are working, you're working. There is little "down time" or casual time with co-workers. Fifty hour weeks are common (more hours the higher up the ladder you go) and everyone is expected to operate at 100%. If your personality does well in that environment, it is not a con. But some can't handle it and leave after 3 months or so. Also, I wish the salaries were more representative of how hard everyone works. Good bonuses and standard raises come each year, but the salaries could stand to be higher. They are right at or below average based on Glassdoor. And a promotion doesn't necessarily mean "a raise" in salary. If what you're focused on is making the most money possible, it might not be a good fit for you.
