Pros
We are in the union. After 30 days you get alll the benefits. The pay is decent and the raises each year are good. Overtime after 8 hrs each day instead of after 40 hrs for the week.
Cons
You never know what time you are getting off work until about an hour before. Be prepared to work a lot of 12 hr shifts. When you are low on seniority its hard to take vacation days.
