Comprehensive Review - Speech-Language Pathologist Adler Therapy Group Employee Review

>High paced work environment centered around productivity; recently has begun to place high importance on "rescheduling" patients throughout the week, as other outpatient clinics do >Several evaluations in one week - guaranteed evaluation once a week. This is a con specific to ATG; other outpatient clinics in the area do not have an aggressive influx of evaluations placed on clinicians. No consideration is taken with evaluation schedules either; they are willing to schedule 3 evaluations on a Friday if it's possible. >No dedicated IT personnel (with training in IT or background in IT), which is troublesome when technical difficulties arise >No sick days provided >Very little PTO: 10 days >No 401k until a year of employment >No flexibility w/ scheduling - all workers must work the following schedule: 8am - 5pm 2x, 8am - 6pm 2x, 8am - 12pm x1. >Salary transparency is "advised against" - encouraged to not share salaries in workplace >No annual raise. >Limited diversity w/ clinician staff (although this may be indicative of larger problem within the rehab field). No Spanish translator w/ medical background available, but ATG continues to accept and treat Spanish-only speaking patients despite this. (one bilingual SLP is available, but she does not evaluate or treat all Spanish speaking patients). Overall: Adler Therapy Group is an outpatient clinic, which all come with high productivity standards. They've made steps toward lessening insane workload on clinicians, such as dedicated paperwork blocks, but this perk is quickly negated w/ number of evaluations per week, as well as high standards for documentation for recertification reports, progress reports and discharge reports. However, this is a great place to hone one's skills and grow as a clinician, due to the abundance of resources and mentors available. Adler Therapy Group trains excellent clinicians and fosters meaningful relationships with their clientele.
