Pros

One of the biggest pros of working with Agave is that they make you feel like your voice is heard. The owners take the time to meet with you in a group or on a personal level. Also, the opportunity with this brand is limitless. You get exactly what you put into it. If you want to keep growing and become very successful all you have to do is put in the work it takes. The benefits that is offered is amazing and the fact that as they grow and bring in more money they hand that down to the employees in some form.

Cons

I think one of the largest cons is that the growth of the company is so fast I feel like sometimes the stores that they have gets neglected. Also sometimes i feel like communication from the top down doesn't always get communicated down all the way. this has got alot better but still needs some work. We need more of a maint department. with 11 stores ALOT can go wrong. with one maint guy is just not in the works to get things done in an adiq amout of time. Work life ballance is also an issue. I understand as a GM of a resturant you commit alot of time to the job and thats fine. But in my life my husband sacrifices alot of our time together to the job, so when im off its his time. its not always like that. however it is getting better.

Pay well considering the surrounding market

Cons

Self centered owner, loves AI for everything. Growing too fast, not caring enough to install systems that lead to success. Ok with being effective not efficient. Zero support, too many apps to do a single task, new restaurant openings are full of broken hand me down equipment(side effect of growing too fast) their maintenance team on multiple occasions they have been reported to management for weird behavior, One time they (maintenance worker) were sending unwanted texts to the host, and she made a complaint and nothing was done. Rude FOH management. They lack the ability to hold responsible parties accountable. You can work 65 hrs a week and they'll still act like you dont work enough
