Pros
Market opportunity: Airtable is exceptionally well-positioned to capture market share in the rapidly expanding GenAI, no code and automation space. With significant VC investment flowing into workflow automation and GenAI-driven enterprise solutions, customers are just beginning to scratch the surface of what’s possible. High performance, low ego environment: People join here to do their best work in their career to date, yet there is no "burning the midnight oil" culture to get your work done. Strong company health: top decile % growth, high rule of 40 and profitable. EMEA region feels like the best of both worlds: scrappy and agile like a startup, but with the backing, product-market fit and avid user base of one of the hottest scale ups to come out of Silicon Valley. Culture of Belonging: I have never worked anywhere in my career that invests so much into offsites and internal events with the explicit goal of fostering connection between colleagues.
Cons
There’s still some lingering residue impact from a period of significant change over the past 24 months. These were tough but necessary board-level decisions that are now clearly bearing fruit. If you’re someone who struggles with ambiguity or fast-paced evolution, a pre-IPO company like Airtable may not be for you.
