Pros
Great pay and WLB, and some really smart and talented colleagues. At Airtable we get to encounter some unique and, honestly, quite fun product challenges (eg "how much customization should we support with feature and which use cases are we choosing to address with it?"), and as an engineer you get to play a huge role in how we go about solving them. We have some really talented PMs and Designers to work with, but the technical nature of the product lends itself rather well for engineers to support and even drive product direction. If you enjoy product thinking and/or talking to passionate customers, product eng at Airtable is likely a good fit.
Cons
The product is very complex and can take some time to ramp up on. The fact that it is a platform for building apps supportive of any industry/vertical can make it a challenge to understand the use cases and really grok customer pain points until you get a chance to see how the product is used first-hand.
