Pros

1. It's relatively easy to get hired full time, especially when the company is working with large clients and needs a lot of people 2. There are opportunities to take on additional responsibilities that can lead to lateral promotions for those who are so driven 3. The pay is competitive, particularly for a call center gig 4. There is a sense that you are doing a good thing for the public 5. They feed employees when the workload gets extreme (at least they did when I was there)

Cons

1. Some of the managers act unprofessionally and socialize with employees outside of work. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it can become a problem when that same manager begins to show preferential treatment for the people they go out and get intoxicated with. Watch out for that. 2. Work/life balance takes a backseat and you will not get approved for time off unless you're pals with management. 3. There is a general lack of consistency from management when handling more complex customer issues. You may ask a question to one manager or supervisor and be told to handle the situation in a certain way, only to be interrogated by another manager later as to why that specific action was taken. 4. The company attempts to come off as one of the hip new startups, but without the culture of a startup or the philosophy behind it. They have a few nifty decorations in the office and when I was there, they had Legos in the break room etc. but the attitude of the company was not at all like a startup. There was a rigid hierarchy and call center employees were at the bottom of that. You could be accosted by management for simply going to the bathroom too many times (by the way, there is one toilet per floor so you can imagine how inconvenient it might be when there are close to 100 reps in the call center.

Pros

- The company feels essentially like a new company (startup-like) but with existing money in the bank to fund growth of the refined vision and new product. - Good for career growth and plenty of opportunities to pick up new skills and responsibilities. For me, personally, this has been a good place to grow leadership skills. - Interesting and exciting product (CrossChannel™ Platform is the one I work on) and SaaS development - The cloud engineering teams utilize modern technologies and practices like Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, Docker, Google Cloud Platform, monorepos, Python, Java, etc. - Development is not hindered by slow release cycles. We utilize a form of Scrumban as our product development methodology. - Intelligent, fun, and pleasant co-workers - CEO is attentive when you talk to him, regardless of your role. This was a drastic change from my time at IBM where even my director was less attentive than AllClear's CEO. - Flexibility with work/life balance - Travel opportunities, especially to the other office in Oslo, Norway - Pay is competitive - Nice office

Cons

- In the current stage of the company, you will need to wear multiple hats, which can be a con for some. - It took longer than I think it should have to re-focus the company into the current direction and product, but as of now it's going in the right direction and trend. - Need to be comfortable with the risks and unknowns of a company/startup with a runway - Sales team is in very early stages
