Pros
- Lots of smart, high EQ folks who care about doing good work
- Diverse backgrounds, especially for our stage and size (Costa Rica, China, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, the UK, and on and on!)
- We're focused on iterating quickly and not getting caught up in how things are done
- Low, but healthy egos, and while people stay in their 'lanes' and work hard, I've felt very supported and see people helping each other cross-functionally
- Compensation, benefits, and perks are good for a startup of our size and stage, and we're continually assessing what makes the most sense for our current and future employees.
- Management is EXPERIENCED, and have worked at a wide range of types of companies and backgrounds
- I honestly can say I enjoy coming to work and collaborating with my team
Cons
- We're still learning and figuring things out, and need people who want to build a startup and can work with little direction.
- A lot of playbooks are being created, which can be great if you like building and experimenting, but not if you need structure and processes already in place.
