      worked for altec birmingham plant 17 for 32 years a meeting was called for plant 17 one morning when we were informed that altec could no longer afford to operate plant 17 assembly plant..we were told to take our things and leave and not expect to be called back. after 32 years of service i and everyone regardless of years of service were given TWO MONTHS SEVERANCE PAYFORTUNE 500 COMPANY?

      Not much that stood out positively during my experience.

      Cons

      In my experience, training and advancement opportunities felt inconsistent and sometimes influenced by internal relationships rather than performance. I also felt that workload expectations were not always applied fairly. After many years with the company, I was ultimately terminated in a situation I personally felt was unfair.
