Pros

>Decent benefits (wellness incentives/PTO/work from home days) >Relaxed dress code >You can find people within the organization to connect with that make coming into the office and being berated by executives bearable. Misery loves company. >This particular job is what you make it.

Cons

>There is a major disconnect between the business side of the organization and IT. Priorities must be clearly communicated to development leads and business stakeholders need to respect the IT process/channels of communication. >The way people interact with each other is appalling. Sometimes it feels like high school with all the in-fighting between teams and departments. The level of professionalism is nonexistant. >Not enough opportunities to grow/learn new things

Pros

Co-workers are amazing. Managers are helpful.

Cons

Rolling out an incomplete new operating system was a horrible idea. Creates additional work for adjusters. The processes being implemented are hindering the ability to effectively close claims. Adjusters are being told to do more with less every day. Claim counts average 180 to 200 for the last 6 months with no relief in sight. Hybrid work was promised at 2 home and 3 in office. That was recently revoked and it is now mandatory 4 days in office. With gas prices what they are, that really hurts. Corporate management seems to be focused more on obtaining #1 status and bringing in the big bucks than finding a way to relieve the stress on their employees. Mental health is non existent and if you aren't putting in 50+ hours a week there is no way to stay on top of your work load. Even then you will feel like you are barely treading water. New NICE phone system is for call centers-not claim adjusters. Not a lot of advancement opportunities unless you are someone's pet. Benefits are mediocre at best.
