1. Some of the people are spectacular and will absolutely make your day! 2. The Autonomy is immense and the innovation is unmatched 3. The ability to network and connect with clinicians, physicians and like-minded individuals is inordinate 4. Depending on the team and your direct manager, the mentorship and learning opportunities could be astronomical. But on the flip, you could stall and stay stagnant if your manager doesn't value your roll.

1. CTS's are looked down on as the "red headed step child" in the organization. 2. There is not an abundance of lateral growth within the roll 3. Some Management (companywide) openly expresses their distaste for the roll or vocalizes that they do not see "value" in the clinical specialist (Note: NOT ALL MANAGEMENT FEELS THIS WAY) 4. There is mounting pressure from Sales (despite what anyone says) for you to sell- this has changed the relationship with accounts and decreased our value 5. Work-life balance can be nonexistent depending on your manager 6. Upper management is sometimes disconnected (The CEO couldn't make time to come to the 2023 NSM and CTS's had one award section/opp while Sales had multiple awards and recognition opportunities.) 7. The company is not always forward thinking when rolling out products which can lead to some major headaches and create unnecessary fires you have to put out 8. You have to constantly prove your value to maintain a job- it's written in the job description and it's almost like you have to prove that you can be of value to sit at the table. 9. There is a LOT of drama and harassment is rampant- this includes harassment of a sexual nature 10. Certain Territory Reps do not value CTS's and treat them drastically unwell (on the flipside, some treat you very well)
