Pros

Front row seat to the legal teams appears to show good work. These are highly skilled, passionate, advocates that are empowered to do great work.

Cons

Communications and campaign organizers are deemed "non-lawyers", i.e. lesser than. The organizational strategy is lacking and cruel. Morale in many departments are low to abysmal. Be prepared to be treated terribly. Promises are broken. An epic lack of integrity among senior leadership.

Pros

Great environment to work. Everyone is invested in your growth and success. Meaningful work from day 1.

Cons

No true cons, sometimes work can be slow, but that's expected as an intern.

Pros

Very interesting work, prestige, nice working hours generally

Cons

My boss’s boss, who I worked with a lot, was extremely critical. I was warned about her before I joined and my co-intern and I bonded about the fact that we both cried after receiving feedback from her for the first time. She was rude, called us names, and made me question if I was fit for the legal profession. I lightly brought this up to my attorney mentor who told me that everyone is just used to it and that is just how it is. I did not feel comfortable writing this in my review because she was the one who read it. I interned many years ago so this may be different now, but it’s something I still think about.
