Pros

If you're outgoing you'll get the job. The 2 nurses are helpful the training is in depth. Working remotely becomes an option with due time. Many employees enjoy this perk.

Cons

Commission structure and goals were changed regularly. At least 20 people have quit or been fired in the past year alone. That is a conservative number. Most chose to leave. It is a revolving door. One new hire even stopped showing up to work with no explanation. Managers try to bully you into not taking time off even for a doctors appointment. They like to sit at their desk and gossip about clients and employees. We can all hear you fyi. CYA culture is prevalent so document everything. There is much more I can say but you'll see if you accept the offer. Advice to applicants: RUN and fast. There are OTHER JOBS. If you take this job ask your coworkers how many people started with them then look around. Read every document before signing anything. Ask questions. Again there are other jobs... It's interesting how when you see a 1 star review several 5 star reviews are written in the next few days...

Our Consultants have an average tenure of 8 years with American Traveler, that is remarkable in a sales and service environment and in the current employment climate. Thank you for noting our in-depth training program. Our clients can be assured that they are working with knowledgeable, well-trained representatives. Our Consultants enjoy assisting their Travelers in meeting their career goals. Many of these very happy Travelers have left reviews for their Consultants on this site confirming what a wonderful job the Consultant and our support teams are doing. We are happy to reward our Consultants for their accomplishments. We do update our Consultant commission plans annually to add incentives to stay focused on current trends. This year we have added $11,500.00 in additional income opportunities for our newest Consultants just starting out. We added up to $6,000.00 in additional income for our tenured Consultants. The last update to their goals were made in May of 2014. Working for a rapidly growing business in a highly competitive industry involves frustrations, hard work and an outgoing, can-do attitude. Overcoming challenges and being part of a team that makes things happen is very rewarding to our staff. We are here to provide the highest quality experience for our clients and help each of our corporate staff achieve their career objectives. We appreciate your feedback and encourage you to speak to us personally regarding any concerns you have, we are here to help you.
