Pros

Fantastic co workers (for the most part), wide range of experiences, wonderful patients. Good training, just an unrealistic demand on times & hours weekly. At one time FOUR mornings per week we were required to be on 1-3 hrs of meetings, phone calls, training.

Cons

Increasing demands to attend webinars, required meetings & phone calls, and required marketing events, as well as demands for better charting, took up more & more time, making it impossible to complete everything; we were charting every evening and weekend. Management & corporate told us that patient care was "not really" the priority, marketing was, and it was the fault of the nurses that census was down. When expressed trouble fitting it all in, charting many extra hours, told by EVERYONE in management & corporate that I talked to that they had done much more than we were doing & it's part of the job.

Pros

From day 1 the lack of training and sub par training should have been the first clue. You have to teach yourself the job. You will have a corporate trainer 1x week for 30 minutes but are still expected to do a job you have no clue about the technology for.

Cons

They shut the branch down 4 weeks after hiring me and most of the staff there were still in their 90 days. They recruited ME and most of the staff hard too!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We understand how disappointing and frustrating it was to be impacted by a branch closure so soon after joining the team. We appreciate your feedback regarding training, communication, and the hiring process, as these are important areas for improvement. We wish you the very best in your future endeavors.
