Decline the interview and job offer; the leaders seem to be hindering the progress of other professionals. - CRO Manager Apryse Employee Review

Pros

The company tends to hire individuals for specific tasks and later claims they are not fit for the role to avoid spending money on agencies or contractors. This lack of transparency and commitment to employee development is disheartening.

Cons

I recently joined this company as a CRO Manager, and my first day was quite overwhelming. The most significant issue I encountered was that the analytics data was not functioning properly. The work atmosphere was not welcoming, with the manager consistently wearing a non-smiling face and treating the marketing team as if they were subordinates rather than collaborators. One of the major challenges I faced was being tasked with creating an A/B testing plan without the necessary user testing tools, correct analytics tools, or user data. Despite these limitations, I managed to deliver the plan based on my experience. However, the manager's expectations were unclear, and there was a lack of alignment between my efforts and the company's goals. When I suggested focusing on conversion over engagement for the A/B test(they want users to pay them without knowing what they are selling), I faced resistance and was told to follow instructions in a rude manner. The daily workload was excessive, with around 30 new tasks each day, and communication from the manager often included rude language. I was also instructed to obtain quotes for A/B testing and user testing tools, only to discover later that the company had no budget for such essential resources. The absence of a structured process within the company became apparent, and it seems that the company is still stuck in the practices of the early 2000s. After talking with some colleagues, I learned that the company tends to hire individuals for specific tasks and later claims they are not fit for the role to avoid spending money on agencies or contractors. This lack of transparency and commitment to employee development is disheartening.
