Pros

Get look at nice cars every day.

Cons

A company's culture that forces previous employees to leave after a corporate takeover is a serious red flag. The entire Maryland IT team prior to the Asbury acquisition left in that fashion. This company has Field Techs, who perform hands on support at assigned dealerships, also working the call center Help Desk which covers all the Asbury dealerships nationwide. So, you're basically doing two jobs in one for minimum salary. They have a knowledge base that you are required to study front to back, but it's outdated and 30-40% of the entries in it don't work. The hardest part of the job is dealing with the seasoned IT members, who don't want to be bothered when you have a question about an issue. Management also expects you to be onsite at assigned dealerships every week (techs have on average 5-6 stores to cover) and take calls for other dealerships not in the same market. Again, a lot of work and unnecessary work would cause anyone to leave a company after a corporate takeover.

Pros

One of the biggest strengths of this company is its leadership. I genuinely feel supported, valued and trusted to do my job well. The General Manager Addison, alongside the GSM Edgar have created an environment where communication is open, expectations are clear and employees are empowered to succeed. I enjoy coming to work because I feel respected, appreciated and challenged to grow professionally. Leadership leads by example, recognizes hard work and fosters a positive team culture that makes a real difference in day to day operations. I also appreciate that the company provides opportunities for development and encourages accountability while still treating employees with respect. That balance has made me feel invested in my role and proud to be part of the team. Overall, the leadership, teamwork and positive culture are the biggest reasons I enjoy working here and see myself continuing to grow with the company.

Cons

Overall, I have a very positive experience working here. If I had to identify an area for improvement, it would simply be continuing to streamline communication and processes as the company grows. I believe there is always room for improvement but I genuinely enjoy working here and appreciate the leadership and culture we’ve built.
