Pros
I loved working for Autism Learning Partners because I felt that diversity and inclusion were values that were portrayed throughout leadership. The reason I left the company was because I changed careers, but I would have stayed longer if I could. Many of the supervisors wrote me incredible letters of recommendation and were patient, kind, and incredibly helpful throughout the 3 years I worked with ALP.
Cons
It was difficult to change my availability at one point because I wanted to work part-time instead of full-time. At the time, I was very burnt out from working a school and home case simultaneously. Eventually, I was granted part-time, but it took a lot of convincing.
