We get paid; Great place to learn how NOT to run a manufacturing business.

Cons

Major focus is on making the company look good "on paper," but real-life day-to-day operations are a fiasco. Engineering expertise is questionable. Absentee-managers who don't understand manufacturing, only how to "cook the books" to make their particular areas look good. Steadfast refusal to listen to long-time, experienced employees. Disturbing pattern of not replacing people who quit - people like GM's, HR reps, etc. Don't pay vendors on time. No appreciation for the importance of maintenance.

For the most part, I did not have to bring work home with me. Compensation was good. Benefits are on par with other corporations in the area, although they have been slowly eroding them.

Cons

Company still very siloed between the various business units. Middle and upper management do not work well with each other, and their strategy is not as clear as it could be. A lot of formerly in-house services have been outsourced, which has slowed down what were routine processes. Micromanagement seems to be on the rise.
