Pros

Fully remote is nice, and SDR managers mean well.

Cons

I have always felt proud to be a part of such a values-driven organization. However, the recent announcement regarding the increase in quota by 25% with only a 1% increase in salary has left me feeling discouraged and frustrated. This new quota is not only unrealistic, but it will likely result in a pay cut for many employees who have been working hard to hit their targets. The company's values of doing the right thing, assuming the best, being open, enjoying quality of life, growing from good to great, leading from where you are, and making it count, seem to be at odds with this decision. As a SDR, I understand the importance of meeting targets and exceeding expectations, but the sudden increase in quota with such a minimal increase in salary makes it nearly impossible for us to do so. This puts a tremendous amount of pressure on employees and could lead to burnout and decreased morale. I have spoken with many of my colleagues, and they share my concerns. We all feel like our hard work and dedication to the company is not being recognized or valued. I hope that the company takes these concerns into consideration and finds a more equitable solution for its employees. While I have enjoyed working for this company in the past, the recent changes have left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. I hope that the company will reconsider this decision and find a way to support its employees in a meaningful and sustainable way.

Pros

At the end of my tenure, I really have no pros.

Cons

I'm pretty sure I was "quietly laid off", in the effort of sneaky downsizing without having to actually do formal layoffs. This place was a godsend and a great place to work on my small independent team, and I did great. Then they did massive restructuring, added layers of hierarchy, added process, and basically just starting running a creative team like a line of factory workers. I had a horrible time with my manager on so many different levels, and felt validation when others would reflect the same, but I reflect what everyone else says - narcissistic, micro managing leadership that I now understand play manipulation games. I was put on a performance improvement plan and finally quit due to burnout, stress, and the dissolution of a role and a team that I had from before. They constantly push for solutions and deliverables, but I never really saw anything I delivered actually get treated and implemented with respect. Company policies and siloed team policies and procedures stymie actual effectiveness, and it seems like the leadership acts as your strict grade school teacher rather than having your back.
