Pros

Good health benefits for 2025. PTO. Nice people.

Cons

Almost everyone is underpaid. I have heard there will be little to no promotions this year. There is a long drawn out political war that has been going on with a few executives. They keep hiring more executives, what are they thinking? Good people are starting to leave. I have heard from many people they don’t know what our goals are. No actual budget, WTF. This company when interviewing says the right things to get you in, then holds you back, no real growth. What happened to living our values?

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your experiences at BambooHR. Your comments tell us there is some missing connective tissue between our overarching strategy and each team member, but fear not, there are some internal resources to learn more in this space! We have implemented cascading goals for every team member, tying what they do to a major company objective or measure of business health (search goals in Slite, and it should come up), and we're working right now on planning and budgets for 2025, but it is potentially the case that your leaders' budget rolls into their Executive's ownership and they have limited visibility - not sure! Furthermore, we review our total rewards benchmarks reguarly to ensure we're aligned to both market and industry standards. We suggest you use the upcoming eNPS survey to share specific ideas and recommendations to your leaders, and even better if you connect it to ways you believe our values could be lived authentically! That will help us continue to grow from good to great grounded in specific ways we can do better. Thanks, Anita, Head of HR

Pros

If you’re complacent with being told what to do and are OK with the pay, you will be OK working here

Cons

There might not be enough space for what I have to say. Management is full of narcissist. Little to no accountability or responsibility from management. Management job is supposed to be helping the team and supporting them and learning the job which they extremely lack in. If you are OK with having someone tell you how to do your job that doesn’t know how to do your job then, you’re in luck. When the team was failing to hit quota, their solution was to keep it the same while calling the BDR‘s complacent. Management also failed to recognize that reps were obtaining quota only through going to events. A work colleague of mine gave feedback in a meeting and was later criticized for providing feedback. After that meeting, he was told not to speak up in a meeting like that. Yet they say they welcome feedback. Management finds time to do things that don’t benefit the team or add extra task to their plate. The organization also loves pointless meetings that can be summarized in two short sentences. My last piece is that the team has a mutual feeling about management and suckers up to them because they are playing the . Bamboo fails to recognize their weaknesses and if they managed to succeed, I would be impressed with how it’s been ran.
