Pros

Supervisors and clients were amazing

Cons

They would barely give you over 30 hours so that you’d still be getting “full time” hours but did not want to schedule you for anywhere close to 40 hours

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. At BLN, we strive to be transparent from the very beginning of the hiring process. Our compensation is well above the industry standard, and we clearly outline expectations for hours in both the welcome email and the offer letter, which are signed by all employees. While we do our best to provide as many hours as possible, it is communicated in writing that we cannot guarantee a set number of hours, as client needs and scheduling can vary. As much as we would love to increase wages further, our ability to do so is limited by the reimbursement rates we receive. Nonetheless, we remain committed to providing competitive pay and a supportive work environment for all employees. If you would like to discuss your concerns further, we encourage you to reach out to us directly. We value feedback as it helps us continue to improve.

Pros

- Strong Collaborative Culture: Everyone is deeply passionate about ABA and helping their clients. There's a great sense of shared mission and dedication. - Exceptional Professional Development: Constant learning opportunities with access to multiple curriculums, allowing you to consult with BCBAs of various backgrounds and never feel limited to one method. - Supportive Environment from Top to Bottom: Management genuinely cares about their staff, actively working to ensure BTs receive excellent support and feel comfortable in their work environment. - Transparent Incentive Structure: Clear, well-defined criteria on how to meet bonuses. - Abundant Resources: The company provides helpful tools and resources to keep you organized and set you up for success.

Cons

Self-Management: This role requires a high degree of autonomy. Success and sustainability depend heavily on your ability to self-organize, manage a demanding schedule, and set firm boundaries to prevent burnout. Meeting hourly requirements may require coverage sessions. - Management: Some clinical supervisors are still completing their own higher education, which can sometimes lead to gaps in oversight and support. - Compensation Structure: BCBA pay is competitive with the market. However, the pay scale for Behavior Technicians (BTs/RBTs) could be higher. Offering more incentives for BTs would acknowledge their vital role and help attract and retain top talent for this crucial position.

Pros

The training was thorough and you learn a lot. The salary is okay, but could be better! The AI data with Hi Rasmus is awesome.

Cons

HR is very unpleasant to work with if you ever have to work with them. Unprofessional and unclear. Not understanding of circumstances and would send follow-up emails of things that “we discussed”, but never actually talked about or agreed to.
