Still controlled by the 'good old boys' network in upper management. Little to no diversity in upper leadership positions, particularly senior leadership. C-Suite hires in the past 6 years have all been white, middle-aged men. Lack of equal compensation for women common in newly hired experienced roles. Blue is frequently out of the market when it comes to compensation for levels above staff accountant and non-accounting roles in general. Turnover due to compensation, remote work and poor leadership.
Talk of 'one firm' is just talk. There is a lack of standardization of procedures and consistent application of company policies. "Favorites" of the DIC/sr leadership benefit in some offices more than others when it comes to flexible schedules, work assignments, merit increases, etc.
Hard to participate in initiatives for company growth or recruiting that are non-chargeable and still be able to bonus. Overall lack of recognition for participation in these efforts.
