Pros

- Work remotely from anywhere - You get a hoodie with their ugly logo on it - 20 days of PTO

Cons

- New hires are set up to fail with a terribly organized onboarding system. - Many people leave within a year of hiring due to burnout. - Brainlabs takes advantage of new grads and people with no corporate experience by paying them severely under market value. - While there is a place for giving feedback, nothing comes out of it other than a cookie cutter message from HR claiming to sympathize. - Middle management heavy with much of the work delegated to entry level employees. - Promotions aren't based on merit with many people feeling pressured to work outside of their jobs without getting promotions. - Certain managers have no experience in the fields of the people they are managing. - Brainlabs is growing very fast, and any revenue the company makes goes into buying more companies or hiring new people at the top. You will not see any improvement in your work life from this growth, and it typically results in getting more work. It is clear that Brainlabs' primary goal is to appease their investors at the expense of burning out their talent. - Abusive clients.

Thank you for providing your feedback, though I am sorry to hear that your experience was not as positive as we would have hoped. You're right that we are growing fast as our ambition is to be the biggest agency on the planet! However, with that growth does come growing pains. We continue to gather feedback from our entire team regularly both in-person and anonymously so we can continue to improve as an employer! We have recently updated our Brainlabs Academy to provide more in-depth training to new hires new to the industry, including structured shadowing opportunities and sessions to provide more practical and hands-on training.

Pros

You have a CEO who wears a fun hat, so that means he's down with the young folks, I guess.

Cons

It's literally no different than all the other corporate agencies. You won't sleep, you won't eat, and you'll get thrown under the bus. You'll be graded not on your performance, but on how well you follow mundane processes that do literally nothing to produce quality work. Management is obsessed with adding new documents or micromanaging policies for everything they can. Just because employees aren't being yelled at doesn't mean the environment isn't toxic. You will not have a life here, They will not set you up for success.
