Pros
Work hard, and promotions will come quickly. When I started at BrightEdge, the path to success was laid out in front of me. In the first eight months, I saw three promotions with raises while being put on strategic teams to work with massive accounts. In my 9th month, I was given a chance to join the management team and grow the sales development organization. There are very few SDR orgs that offer the opportunity for this type of advancement in this timeframe, but the work was there. If you work hard here, you will grow quickly and be paid incredibly well. People who think they can walk in and do the bare minimum usually don't see growth. Ive never been around a culture that the Senior VP of Sales cares about every level of the team like at BrightEdge. Michael Sundareson routinely sets up meetings with SDR's to motivate and coach them to reach the next step of there career. He's not the only one. Many of the directors within the org are involved and offer support from all levels.
Cons
People who think they can walk in and do the bare minimum usually don't see growth. they are the ones that typically complain the most.
