Pros
- Vacation time is 3 weeks plus 3 personal days - Onsite doctor covered by insurance, great for flu shots or annuals - Volunteer Time Off (3 days) to help the community - Flexible schedule (in my department I am able to work remotely whenever needed) - Fun events held often (cultural week, word class service day, holiday party, annual picnic etc.) - My manager encourages me to be better and grow. Always available to answer my questions and guide me.
Cons
- Communication is lacking - Compensation is not very competitive to other organizations - Have to stay on top of your career trajectory and next steps with upper management. If you don't ask, you probably won't get. Have to keep pushing. - Don't expect to get pats on the back
