      Lots of bureaucratic tape hindering growth - Senior Data Engineer Broadridge Employee Review

      Pros

      Decent Benefits, work life balance and a good response to the pandemic (handling remote work, stipends for home office, etc.)

      Cons

      As a FinTech company, I was hoping for a reasonably up to date tech stack. What I found was the complete opposite and the lack of manager buy in to upgrade it. When pitching new software for adoption at Broadridge, it seemed most higher ups were interested and wanted to see the change but unnecessary red tape hindered any progress. This was a reoccurring theme throughout my time at the company and was a major reason why the retention rate was so low for developers.
