Pros

Good benefits, work is easy when things actually go right, managers and coworkers will help you out and care about you. Go to Arizona first week

Cons

Every other car that arrives has a problem whether it’s a missing title, something on it is broken, check engine light, no gas, dents and scrapes that were not advertised. I once had to deliver a car that was missing a passenger side mirror to a customer. Whenever a car is delayed or has an issue the blame is all on you, you have to clean up and take the blame for the companies mistakes. Customers wait weeks to get cars because a title will get lost. Inside customer service is useless... always tell customers the wrong info.. all live in Arizona and have no clue how laws and procedures in other states work. You will never get out of work on time and will have no work life balance because things never go as planned. You will also work every weekend. One screw up on the morning will make all of your delivery’s late. Company culture is corny they expect too much corny enthusiasm from you and give you stupid carvana “swag” you will never want to use. People snitch on each other way to much to the manager but will never hold you accountable to your face. Pay is way to low for the amount of work you do. Great job if you want to terrible hours, never know when your going to get to go home, get berated by customers by things that are not your fault, get crappy training that doesn’t teach you what you actually need to know and get yelled at when you mess up because of it, rush around all day with no time for a lunch break, get fired without a 2 week notice, and get paid next to nothing and never advance and bring people crappy cars that belong in a junk yard.

Pros

* Corporate roles offer flexibility, and no one micromanages how you structure your 8-hour day. * Good holiday schedule and work-life balance if you’re in the right role.

Cons

No clear vision or long-term strategy for the Safe & Secure department. * Constant reorganizations and changing priorities. * Positions eliminated, reinstated, and eliminated again. * No stability or clear career path. * Lack of structure and accountability. * “Blind leading the blind” culture. * Chronic understaffing. * Employees expected to do the work of two or three people. * No additional compensation for increased workload. * Leadership’s answer to resource constraints is to “be scrappy.” * High levels of burnout. * Extremely low morale. * Significant loss of talent and leadership. * Employees quitting without another job lined up due to poor working conditions. * Operations Center dismantled, relocated, and then effectively rebuilt again with no clear strategic reason. * Experienced employees terminated, only to recreate similar functions later. * Loss of institutional knowledge. * Frequent reactive decisions instead of proactive planning. * Constant uncertainty creates stress and uneasiness. * Lack of confidence in leadership direction. * Heavy workload with limited support. * Minimal investment in retaining top performers. * Environment not conducive to building a long-term career.
