Pros

I've worked here a couple of months and so far like it. I have a good supervisor who advocates for my own personal mental health and wellbeing and values identity and work life balance. Good pay for right out of college and paid training.

Cons

The job itself is very mentally taxing as you work with children with behavioral issues. Only con is they continue to talk about becoming an RBT, but I have to wait for an internal opening which has not been available since I started.

Thank you for sharing your experience and for your commitment as a Behavior Technician. We’re glad to hear that you feel supported by your supervisor, value the work-life balance, and have found the pay and training beneficial as you begin your career. We also recognize the demanding nature of this work and the impact it can have on staff. Supporting children with behavioral challenges is rewarding but can also be emotionally and mentally taxing, and we remain committed to providing resources and support to help staff manage those challenges. Regarding RBT opportunities, we encourage you to stay connected with your supervisor and HR team as we continue to expand roles and openings. There are generally more of these positions in the fall and during the school year, Career growth and development are priorities for CCRES, and we want to help you advance when the opportunity becomes available. We appreciate the important work you do each day and are proud to have you as part of the CCRES team. If you have additional questions or concerns that require our attention please contact your supervisor or hr@ccres.org. Thank you!

Pros

I have never had any issues contacting the team and having concerns resolved, and the family/work balance has been wonderful. The professional development opportunities and college discounts are greatly appreciated.

Cons

Health insurance coverage could be improved, and the steps to become an RBT could be quicker. Additionally, we currently have no PTO, vacation, or sick time, though they do make you aware of this when you're hired.
