I have been working at Cannon for 15+ years, and there has been a lot of advancements in the telecommunications industry. One thing I have found is that Cannon is very flexible. They do a lot of different types of work. (Aerial, Underground, Power, Water, Sewer, Fiber Optics & Copper, Splicing, Directional Drilling, etc) They have always had work. They embrace new technology and industries and go after opportunities.

Cons

Growing pains. Over the last few years, Cannon has seen an exponential amount of growth. This can be seen as a pro or con. Things move and change fast around here.

- Friendly office environment - Provided with helpful onboarding materials - lots of snacks - Senior management was very nice but seemed out of touch and in their own world

Cons

- management would "whisper" about BLM and LGBTQ not belonging in their neighborhood... pretty stupid since the whole office can actually hear you and many people of color work here - start time advertised at 8 AM then when after I started told it was actually 6:30 AM - low pay - management/supposed teammates excluded drafters from team bonding and ignored us until they needed us to fix their mistakes
