Pros

Remote work. The pto time (goals are so high though so you’ll have to work off the clock to hit them on your vacation). I had to work from a hospital bed in emergency bc the job hospitalized me and calls still need to take place . It’s a pharma-themed call center now.

Cons

Leadership. The higher ups are besties with the managers below them and favorite those teams. They love to bend rules for male employees . Good luck working here if you’re a female. They promise specialists if they do well then they will become a rep and make all this money. They really just want to use the specialists for free help. Give them large accounts so they can get away with not paying commissions to experienced reps. They used to pay really great bonuses for hitting certain KPIs but the company couldn’t afford to pay those bonuses anymore so they kept raising goals on good employees to save money and then gaslight them saying they aren’t good at their job and that’s why they can’t hit goal. Worst company I’ve ever worked for in my entire life. So sketchy and the only reason why they get away with it all is because they just fire people who start catching on or those people just quit and are too traumatized to bring it all up again after parting ways.also, the sales director brings up “back in my day” way too much. We get it , you’re older than us and worked in office before computers ran every part of this job. Stop trying to make everyone feel inexperienced because they haven’t been with the company for 20+ years. They treat their younger employees like inexperienced children and when people bring up issues , their response is “you don’t have to be here”.

Cons

This company has made it clear that its employees are not a priority. Over the past several years, there have been repeated layoffs, hiring freezes, and constant cost-cutting, with little regard for the employees left behind or how the remaining work will realistically get done. Many of the decisions don’t make sense. Critical, high-performing employees and essential roles have been eliminated while other positions remain. At the same time, new processes and layers of bureaucracy have been introduced that make even simple tasks take much longer, leaving employees with less time to focus on the work that actually serves clients. I genuinely feel for both the employees who remain and the clients, who ultimately bear the consequences of these decisions. The workload continues to increase while staffing decreases, creating an unsustainable environment. If you’re considering applying here, I’d think carefully. The company has laid off dozens of long-tenured employees—many with decades of service—without hesitation. That sends a clear message about how employee loyalty is valued. What has been especially disappointing is the lack of interest in employee feedback. In all my years here, I was never asked for ideas on how my department or the company could operate more effectively, despite those doing the work often having the best insight into what needs improvement. To make matters worse, 50-hour workweeks have become the expectation rather than the exception. It’s difficult to see continued cuts to the workforce while executive compensation remains high.
