Pros
Some dedicated and hardworking colleagues who genuinely cared about clients and supported one another.
Cons
During my time with the company, I found the workplace culture to be discouraging rather than supportive. My experience with management often left me feeling belittled, anxious, and undervalued. Feedback was frequently delivered in a way that felt dismissive instead of constructive, and I rarely felt that my concerns or contributions were genuinely heard. Over time, this had a negative impact on my confidence, morale, and overall job satisfaction.
I also did not perceive the promotion process to be merit-based. From my perspective, performance, professionalism, and dedication did not consistently translate into advancement opportunities. Instead, it often appeared that personal relationships and favoritism played a larger role in career progression. Whether or not that reflected the full picture, that perception was both disheartening and demotivating.
I believe the company has talented employees and the potential to be an excellent place to work, but stronger leadership, greater accountability, more respectful communication, and increased transparency around promotions would significantly improve the employee experience. People perform their best when they feel respected, supported, and confident that opportunities are earned through merit. Ashleen Gordon made me hate coming to work.
