Pros

- Non-bureaucratic. - Friendly, well-intentioned people. - Collaborative culture on some teams (but not all).

Cons

- Frequent cases of favoritism and inequity from people in management. - People promoted to managerial roles based on skill expertise rather than management ability. - Lack of career development. - Lack of objectivity in employee review process. No clear relationship between performance and rewards. - Homogenous culture that looks down on addressing gender and culture issues in the workplace. - Groupthink is common, as there is a lack of diversity in thinking and an unwillingness to challenge (and fear of challenging) the status quo. - Recruiting and selection process is based primarily on gut feel and personality fit and less on fair and objective measures (the math test is the most objective part of the selection process). - Managerial decisions typically made based on "gut feel" rather than data (at least this is the perception).

Pros

There is a lot of investment in new technologies, especially AI. As AI continues to evolve, Chatham is investing in employees by giving us opportunities to learn and use these tools so we can stay ahead of the curve and be leaders in the industry. That's a huge plus. The people here are also unmatched. I've worked at other companies, and I can honestly say this is the best culture I've been a part of. The team is supportive, collaborative, and genuinely cares about each other's success.

Cons

I would not change a thing,

Pros

One of the best parts about working at this company is the opportunity to learn across different functions and gain exposure to a wide range of projects. The environment allows employees to develop both technical and professional skills quickly, especially through collaboration with experienced team members. I also appreciate the fast-paced culture, which encourages growth, adaptability, and problem-solving. The experience has helped me better understand operations, teamwork, and how different parts of the business work together.

Cons

One challenge of working at the company is that there can sometimes be a heavy amount of operational and repetitive work, which may limit opportunities to focus on more strategic or analytical projects. In certain situations, processes and responsibilities could be better organized to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary workload. Communication between teams can also occasionally be unclear, leading to duplicated efforts or delays. Improving workflow structure could help employees be more productive and engaged.
