Pros

The average tenure at Chatham is 4+ years and turnover is very low - so I was surprised to read the fairly negative comments on glassdoor - if it's really that bad, wouldn't turnover be much higher? Pros -Company is purpose-oriented, not just profit-oriented -Generally walks the walk in values and purposes -There are equal opportunities for employees to purchase company equity after 2 years -Compensation is competitive for market and area -Interesting work in high finance and great area to raise families -Software team is more like a startup, rapid innovation and new tech being used all the time -Leadership is transparent about most big decisions

Cons

Cons -Decision-making structure is sometimes unclear -Compensation and promotion philosophy is ambiguous

Pros

There is a lot of investment in new technologies, especially AI. As AI continues to evolve, Chatham is investing in employees by giving us opportunities to learn and use these tools so we can stay ahead of the curve and be leaders in the industry. That's a huge plus. The people here are also unmatched. I've worked at other companies, and I can honestly say this is the best culture I've been a part of. The team is supportive, collaborative, and genuinely cares about each other's success.

Cons

I would not change a thing,

Pros

One of the best parts about working at this company is the opportunity to learn across different functions and gain exposure to a wide range of projects. The environment allows employees to develop both technical and professional skills quickly, especially through collaboration with experienced team members. I also appreciate the fast-paced culture, which encourages growth, adaptability, and problem-solving. The experience has helped me better understand operations, teamwork, and how different parts of the business work together.

Cons

One challenge of working at the company is that there can sometimes be a heavy amount of operational and repetitive work, which may limit opportunities to focus on more strategic or analytical projects. In certain situations, processes and responsibilities could be better organized to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary workload. Communication between teams can also occasionally be unclear, leading to duplicated efforts or delays. Improving workflow structure could help employees be more productive and engaged.
