Pros

Chatham bases much of its hiring decisions on a person's likelihood to build lasting, trusting relationships with clients as long as the person demonstrates potential to learn the math and finance. I appreciated how much the company invested in me so that I could become a great consultant. Chatham really does strive to be a values-based organization. Its "multiple bottom line" philosophy is more than just lip service, and I was proud to be associated with almost all of my teammates throughout the organization. There are some truly wonderful, caring, and competent people at Chatham.

Cons

There is sometimes very little understanding about how careers can and should develop at Chatham, and that ambiguity can be frustrating for people who aspire to grow beyond their initial ramp-up. I am certain they are working on this issue, but it has caused some people to leave.

Pros

There is a lot of investment in new technologies, especially AI. As AI continues to evolve, Chatham is investing in employees by giving us opportunities to learn and use these tools so we can stay ahead of the curve and be leaders in the industry. That's a huge plus. The people here are also unmatched. I've worked at other companies, and I can honestly say this is the best culture I've been a part of. The team is supportive, collaborative, and genuinely cares about each other's success.

Cons

I would not change a thing,

Pros

One of the best parts about working at this company is the opportunity to learn across different functions and gain exposure to a wide range of projects. The environment allows employees to develop both technical and professional skills quickly, especially through collaboration with experienced team members. I also appreciate the fast-paced culture, which encourages growth, adaptability, and problem-solving. The experience has helped me better understand operations, teamwork, and how different parts of the business work together.

Cons

One challenge of working at the company is that there can sometimes be a heavy amount of operational and repetitive work, which may limit opportunities to focus on more strategic or analytical projects. In certain situations, processes and responsibilities could be better organized to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary workload. Communication between teams can also occasionally be unclear, leading to duplicated efforts or delays. Improving workflow structure could help employees be more productive and engaged.
