Pros

There are parts of the organization where teams still work collaboratively together to serve clients and bring value.

Cons

Over the last three years there has been a drastic shift within the organization. Specifically in the way leaders treat staff members and the cultural goals (adding transparency, advocating for fair financial markets). There are no leaders at Chatham, only managers. Individuals who have been with the organization have been risen into Managing Director roles yet have no ability to grow talent, provide meaningful feedback, or challenge the status quo. As long as they keep getting paychecks, they will continue to serve themselves and actively work to keep others down. This has contributed to ceiling at Chatham in roles, responsibilities, and income potential. Chatham no longer can justify lower compensation and minimal flexibility as it acts just like any other corporation. Unfortunately, it seems that the goal is to simply set the company up for a sale in 5-10 years to profit the C-suite.

Pros

There is a lot of investment in new technologies, especially AI. As AI continues to evolve, Chatham is investing in employees by giving us opportunities to learn and use these tools so we can stay ahead of the curve and be leaders in the industry. That's a huge plus. The people here are also unmatched. I've worked at other companies, and I can honestly say this is the best culture I've been a part of. The team is supportive, collaborative, and genuinely cares about each other's success.

Cons

I would not change a thing,

Pros

One of the best parts about working at this company is the opportunity to learn across different functions and gain exposure to a wide range of projects. The environment allows employees to develop both technical and professional skills quickly, especially through collaboration with experienced team members. I also appreciate the fast-paced culture, which encourages growth, adaptability, and problem-solving. The experience has helped me better understand operations, teamwork, and how different parts of the business work together.

Cons

One challenge of working at the company is that there can sometimes be a heavy amount of operational and repetitive work, which may limit opportunities to focus on more strategic or analytical projects. In certain situations, processes and responsibilities could be better organized to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary workload. Communication between teams can also occasionally be unclear, leading to duplicated efforts or delays. Improving workflow structure could help employees be more productive and engaged.
