Pros

The work is very rewarding and the team approach to caring for seniors 24/7 is very effective. This industry has a lot of amazing opportunities to grow your career from direct care to administration. I like having clear goals and being able to celebrate those achievements with my co-workers.

Cons

There are great opportunities to succeed but the day is full of disruptions which can be a challenge to manage. At the end of the day, I feel good about the work and helping seniors enjoy your lives at Christian Care.

The mission. The diversity in the communities.

Cons

Sigh. Where should I start? The worst part about this organization is the hypocrisy of the name of the organization and the leadership that is currently "running" things. More like running people off. The turnover is embarrassing. The evil I witnessed while working there was really scary. The belittling, bullying, harassment, the wildly inappropriate behavior from the one in charge was disgusting. Such a shame. You can't keep treating people like this and expect them to stay. In what world are we walking around afraid of other adults? It was honestly shocking to witness. Unfortunately there is no real HR. It is only there to be the eyes and ears to feed the CEO. Not surprised they keep getting hit with lawsuits.
