Great Place to Work - Recruiter Commonwealth Resources Employee Review

Pros

Commonwealth resources is a fantastic place to grow and establish yourself as a recruiter. The management team is second to none in terms of their ability and willingness to help out new or veteran recruiters break into the construction market. On top of that, the office environment is great. Everybody is extremely friendly, and wants each recruiter who comes in to succeed. From the candidate standpoint, the people we recruit are very down to earth, and great to talk to.

Cons

There aren't many negatives about working for Commonwealth Resources. However, I think every recruiter who steps into a position with CRI should know that you will predominantly be cold and warm calling potential candidates. Each recruiting firm or talent acquisition position handles the job in a different way. For those looking to come on-board at CRI, make sure you are comfortable talking on the phone as your primary form of communication. If you like talking on the phone, then this will definitely not be a con, but, rather, a huge plus.

Pros

Such a great work culture. Genuinly the best bosses I’ve ever had. You will make great money here!

Cons

If you don’t like cold calling, this isn’t the job for you, but no complaints about the company itself

Pros

Very supportive and encouraging management. My boss was the best manager I've ever had, straight to the point, got me in the right direction but let us do our own thing if we're seeing successful results. AMAZING office culture! Everyone is so friendly, knows each other well, management truly cares about recruiter success. Getting out of the office at 4:00 pm every day is also great, allows for solid level of work/life balance.

Cons

Strictly fully in-person. If you want a hybrid job, this management culture is not for you. Generally not very tech-savvy and a bit antiquated in the way they run things, their equipment, etc. Their internal database is also pretty unorganized. When you start there, expect to make up your own methods of organizing your candidates, schedules, etc. Nothing administrative is automatic, and each recruiter has a different way of organizing themselves, which can be annoying.
