Pros

OK pay & benefits - most of the managers I've had have been easy to get along with

Cons

OK pay & benefits - you can go to just about any independant and get better pay. Mulva takes his $50 million but certainly isn't spreading it around any. A lot of my peers (in other companies) have been getting 30%+ bonuses while COP was giving 7-14%. Recently a 20% retention bonus was given to some engineers in some BU's and not others and a 5% raise given to US based employees but not to expats. It certainly upset a lot of people - not that it mattered to me, techs never get anything anyway.

Pros

The culture is incredible, everyone is very kind and willing to help with questions. Interns get to work on real, valuable projects over the summer. Lots of fun events.

Cons

Slight worry about job security/relocation

Pros

Friendly company, cares about safety.

Cons

Extremely disorganized after 2025 layoffs. Lots of experienced staff left, leaving lots of gaps. They can't decide if they want to operate like a lean independent or a supermajor which means they want things done yesterday but still while following 1,000s of pages of guidelines and procedures.
