Pros
Friendly people to work with and decent benefits, good salary. I've made a lot of money and gotten great sales experience but that's it.
Cons
There is a reason most of the sales staff is miserable and only stick around because of the pay. Management is clueless, they will threaten your job and talk down to you even when producing at a high rate. Classic example of managing as opposed to leading. Most of the sales staff fears or hates management, or both. Unless you are part of management's inner circle, aka drinking buddies, don't expect to be promoted or shown fair treatment. In fact, don't be surprised if a deal is stolen from you by one of the guys in the inner circle while management turns a blind eye, as I have seen this happen a number of times. Training is below par, mostly because the managers are lazy. Rules are constantly broken and the entire Atlanta major market sales department is an HR nightmare waiting to happen.
