Pros

26 year old company Great place to work. Up until 4 years ago.

Cons

Our CEO Dave Conway “who I had great respect for” thought selling out to an investment broker was a good idea. Instead of working to create a family environment to build better lives for everyone as it had been, management worked to dismantle and destroy everything to increase short term profits so they could temporarily make more money and keep a job. After that even the respectable leaders had to craw in the mud creating horrible fake policy's leading the team in incomprehensible directions and berating everyone underneath them making excuses to fire as many people as possible and still keep the doors open as they were instructed to do. This occurred in every department with the exception of sales, they kept the ones who had high numbers and were willing to work for lower pay the rest were a revolving door. The result was every qualified talented employee including the managers themselves jumped ship starting with the lowest PC tech all the way to the director and beyond. They were soon enough replaced with underpaid self important under educated incompetent baboons that were just happy to have a job in the exciting world of IT. The mission, to scheme plot and blame everyone around them in an attempt to hide their lack of knowledge and abilities. The mission was a success with the help of the newly replaced managers and director backing them up. However the product and customers suffer. P.S. In case your African American don't bother applying. A company of thousands of employees only employees around 15 or so African Americans. The question why is asked at every company meeting, the answer compresses down to we cant find anymore competent African Americans to hire.

ConstructConnect Response

Your perspective and advice is noted, and also appreciated. There is, however, one statement that needs to be addressed factually regarding the hiring of African Americans. We are an equal opportunity employer in every way. As a public company, we are not only committed to a diverse workforce, but also held to the highest standards regarding our hiring practices. Diversity and inclusion are inherent in our core values of People First, Respect, Empowerment, Collaboration and Drive, and we purposefully seek out talented, authentic people with unique and creative perspectives to drive synergy and success for our business. The number of self-identified African Americans employed far exceeds the number you have provided. Further, there has never been a time when a statement has been made that "we can't find anymore competent African Americans to hire." Our applicant and talent pool tells a very different story. Pros

I’ve been with ConstructConnect for several years, and one of the things that continues to stand out is the company’s commitment to both its employees and the communities we serve. I’ve always felt encouraged to grow professionally. Whether it’s taking on new challenges, sharing ideas, or developing new skills, I’ve been given opportunities to make a meaningful impact. Leadership genuinely invests in employee development and creates an environment where learning never stops. This year I had the opportunity to volunteer with AEC Cares in San Diego, and it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. Watching ConstructConnect partner with the industry to help renovate Rachel’s Women’s Center, a shelter for women who have experienced homelessness, was incredibly moving. Hearing the women’s stories and seeing the transformation of the shelter reminded me that our work can extend far beyond the office. I’m proud to work for a company that doesn’t just talk about giving back. ConstructConnect shows up and makes a difference. That same week, I attended the AIA Conference where I had the chance to connect with architects and share how ConstructConnect is working to strengthen our partnerships with the design community. It was exciting to have conversations around the analytics we’re providing and see those discussions spark collaboration and new ideas. It reinforced that we’re listening to our partners and continually looking for ways to create value together. As if that wasn’t enough, I followed an incredible week in San Diego with Gallup Manager training in Atlanta. It reminded me how seriously ConstructConnect takes leadership development. The company recognizes that managers play a huge role in creating an engaging workplace, and it invests in helping us become better leaders for our teams. Employee engagement isn’t just something we talk about at ConstructConnect, it’s something we’re actively working toward every day. No company is perfect, but I’m grateful to work somewhere that encourages growth, values relationships, gives back to the community, and empowers employees to make a real impact. I’m proud to be part of that culture.

Cons

There’s always room to strengthen communication during times of change. It’s great to see our department taking proactive steps to keep everyone aligned and informed as we navigate new workflows and processes.

Pros

I'm confident ConstructConnect is the best place I've worked. From day one, it's clear this company genuinely lives and breathes its People First culture — not just as a talking point, but in tangible, everyday ways I've never experienced elsewhere. The culture is warm, collaborative, and fun. Management is truly invested in your growth — my manager proactively works with me on career development strategies, is upfront about where she wants me to be, and is equally open to my own goals and preferences. That kind of two-way investment is rare. Learning and development are baked into how we work. We have four dedicated "Library Hours" per week to focus on growing our knowledge — whether that's learning more about the company, our products, or our individual fields. It's a small thing that signals a lot. Beyond professional growth, there's real meaning in the work itself. We hear directly from customers how ConstructConnect has helped them land projects and grow their businesses — knowing our work helps build thriving communities is genuinely motivating. Strong Learning & Development — monthly learning offerings from our People & Culture team keep leaders and team members up to speed on the latest tools and protocols. A detailed onboarding program supports new hires as they ramp up. Benefits are generous — open PTO, strong flexibility depending on your team and role, and a hybrid work environment that has given me an excellent work/life balance.

Cons

This is a growing company, and change comes with that. If you struggle with change, take note — but for those who embrace it, the opportunities are there.
