Pros

Things I like about working at ConstructConnect: 1. The people. From a people perspective, this is the best place I have ever worked. I enjoy working for my boss and working with my co-workers. 2. The outlook for the company. We have made a number of investments in new technology, AI enhanced products, and new team members. These are beginning to pay off and the trajectory for this growth to continue is the best since I have been here. 3. People first attitude. We went through a CEO change recently. We had a great CEO in Matt Strazza. I was concerned when he was transferred to a different Roper company (Roper owns our company and many others). Buck Brody has stepped into the CEO role and has not made any significant changes. While the jury is still out, I am encouraged that the culture has not changed. 4. Transparency. We have monthly Town Halls, both for the company and my department. Information about what we are doing well, new ideas, and things we could do better are shared openly and honestly. I have never worked in a place that tells all the employees each month how we are doing - from hiring to company initiatives to sales. It is very empowering. 5. Ability to work in an office when desired but the flexibility to work from home too. I like being with my team in person from time to time. And we are getting a new office in Atlanta. But I also value being able to work from home most of the time. 6. Leadership. I work in the Product Development team and our leaders seem to have a direction that they are taking the group. We have improved in a number of ways in the last couple years - we deploy more often, have a higher quality product, and solve more interesting problems than we did in the past. And the leaders seem to care about me, as a person. 7. Innovation. We have regularly scheduled periods of innovation at the end of each quarter where employees are allowed to work on whatever they want. I have seen groups of people who normally do not work with each other come together to build new and exciting things, learn about new technologies, and generally become better at this jobs. I have never worked in a place where innovation was a regular part of my work. 8. My opinion counts. Team members are regularly asked what they think about potential changes. Team members are able to participate in proof-of-concepts and in what things are chosen for our teams to work with (a first for me in a company of this size). And the company regularly solicits feedback via Gallup surveys. The best part is the company seems to pay attention to what I say on these surveys.

Cons

Obviously, not everything at ConstructConnect is perfect. 1. It takes too long to hire new team members. We have a number of open positions on my team and seem to be very picky about who we hire. Maybe that's good - the people that have joined our teams are better than they used to be. But my team would be better off if we went faster. 2. We still have several old products. We haven't retired some of the older platforms and nobody wants to work on them. 3. We have some employees who have been here a long time that do not seem to want to do things differently. Teams with many newer employees seem to be better than teams with many employees who have been here a long time. 4. Compensation and benefits are not what they could be. I guess everyone wants to make more money but the raises are not always great, especially after talking about the sales records we seem to regularly hit.

Pros

I’ve been with ConstructConnect for several years, and one of the things that continues to stand out is the company’s commitment to both its employees and the communities we serve. I’ve always felt encouraged to grow professionally. Whether it’s taking on new challenges, sharing ideas, or developing new skills, I’ve been given opportunities to make a meaningful impact. Leadership genuinely invests in employee development and creates an environment where learning never stops. This year I had the opportunity to volunteer with AEC Cares in San Diego, and it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. Watching ConstructConnect partner with the industry to help renovate Rachel’s Women’s Center, a shelter for women who have experienced homelessness, was incredibly moving. Hearing the women’s stories and seeing the transformation of the shelter reminded me that our work can extend far beyond the office. I’m proud to work for a company that doesn’t just talk about giving back. ConstructConnect shows up and makes a difference. That same week, I attended the AIA Conference where I had the chance to connect with architects and share how ConstructConnect is working to strengthen our partnerships with the design community. It was exciting to have conversations around the analytics we’re providing and see those discussions spark collaboration and new ideas. It reinforced that we’re listening to our partners and continually looking for ways to create value together. As if that wasn’t enough, I followed an incredible week in San Diego with Gallup Manager training in Atlanta. It reminded me how seriously ConstructConnect takes leadership development. The company recognizes that managers play a huge role in creating an engaging workplace, and it invests in helping us become better leaders for our teams. Employee engagement isn’t just something we talk about at ConstructConnect, it’s something we’re actively working toward every day. No company is perfect, but I’m grateful to work somewhere that encourages growth, values relationships, gives back to the community, and empowers employees to make a real impact. I’m proud to be part of that culture.

Cons

There’s always room to strengthen communication during times of change. It’s great to see our department taking proactive steps to keep everyone aligned and informed as we navigate new workflows and processes.

Pros

I'm confident ConstructConnect is the best place I've worked. From day one, it's clear this company genuinely lives and breathes its People First culture — not just as a talking point, but in tangible, everyday ways I've never experienced elsewhere. The culture is warm, collaborative, and fun. Management is truly invested in your growth — my manager proactively works with me on career development strategies, is upfront about where she wants me to be, and is equally open to my own goals and preferences. That kind of two-way investment is rare. Learning and development are baked into how we work. We have four dedicated "Library Hours" per week to focus on growing our knowledge — whether that's learning more about the company, our products, or our individual fields. It's a small thing that signals a lot. Beyond professional growth, there's real meaning in the work itself. We hear directly from customers how ConstructConnect has helped them land projects and grow their businesses — knowing our work helps build thriving communities is genuinely motivating. Strong Learning & Development — monthly learning offerings from our People & Culture team keep leaders and team members up to speed on the latest tools and protocols. A detailed onboarding program supports new hires as they ramp up. Benefits are generous — open PTO, strong flexibility depending on your team and role, and a hybrid work environment that has given me an excellent work/life balance.

Cons

This is a growing company, and change comes with that. If you struggle with change, take note — but for those who embrace it, the opportunities are there.
