Pros
That people make a difference isn’t just a cliche or catch phrase at ConstructConnect. The people have always been the best part of the company since my first phone call with people and culture years ago, to this day. The people remain the best company asset in their intelligence, ambition, and willingness to reach higher. Go further. One makes progress at ConstructConnect incrementally. The work is very challenging. The industry highly competitive and moves fast. But it seems like you and your work matters inside and outside of the company. Collaborating, continuous learning and stretching one’s abilities is key. Making do with the resources available to move obstacles aside and steam ahead, both required and enjoyable. The possibilities for growth are there as long as one works hard, gets along well with others (easy), and delivers one’s promises.
Cons
One must be an expert at, or learn to be expert at managing priorities, true anywhere. But it’s never been more important to prioritize what you seek to accomplish. To compete at the highest level with limited resources and multiple avenues for growth, choosing carefully is critical. Fortunately, leadership understands this well, is receptive to and supports open dialogue on jobs to be done.
