Pros
- They hire a lot of recent college grads and train them up on some of the basics of project management & digital advertising. That's a plus. - They essentially promote almost exclusively from within (a pro and a con IMHO). - WFH is a nice perk - People are kind and understanding - perhaps even to a fault where if you make a serious mistake on a project, it's no big deal to anyone because they set the bar pretty low - drastically different from other, bigger competitors that hire/fire on a whim. It's VERY difficult to get fired from CLX. - You get almost direct access to upper-management, unheard of at bigger companies.
Cons
- You'll get quite little in that of career development/skill training. What you do get is basic relative to the rest of the industry, which doesn't serve you well when you eventually try to move onward to other opportunities. - The pay isn't great or at industry standard in my experience unless you're being hired from outside to fill a very specific tough-to-fill role. I will say there are exceptions to this though. - You'll very likely need to put a lot of work in at CLX over a very prolonged period of time to achieve a great salary, much longer than if you worked on your skills a bit and then went to another organization.
