Pros

The trainers and PC team genuinely work very hard to make employees’ futures brighter. Some trainers are extremely supportive, knowledgeable, and put in real effort to help freshers learn medical coding properly. Their guidance and dedication deserve appreciation.

Cons

CorroHealth is an organization that seems to be an expert in mass hiring and mass firing. During the hiring process, false commitments are made to attract candidates. Freshers are hired in bulk, work is taken from them, and later they are terminated without any valid reason. At least 200 employees were removed without proper explanation or performance-based justification. This creates extreme job insecurity and mental stress for employees. During campus hiring, the company clearly promised to provide medical coding certification after training. However, at the end, no certification or official support was provided. These promises turned out to be misleading. Overall, the company lacks transparency, ethics, and employee support. Freshers should think carefully before joining, especially if they are relying on verbal commitments made during hiring.

Pros

The only pros are salary and remote work

Cons

Many cons. First, the job interview is extremely intimidating and borders harassment. Be prepared. The company lacks structure, management, and proper education. They frown upon employee interactions during work hours since it will take away from chart reviews. Therefore, you are pretty much alone all day. The company physicians are not well educated on coding and clinical criteria; however, if you disagree with their advice be prepared to be on their bad side and be placed on a PIP without being given a heads up. Supervisors and other leaders are demeaning and make you feel like you don’t know anything and if you challenge them - you are always an inferior and will be put in your place. Therefore, leave your past education and pride at the door; otherwise, this company will make you miserable. Basically, the culture at Corro is toxic.
